Yokohama, Ookagawa Village (unknown date)
A farmer pulling a daihachiguruma cart in Ookagawamura near Yokohama in Kanagawa Prefecture. In the back a sacred torii gate is visible. Ookagawamura village existed as a separate entity from 1889 (Meiji 22) through 1927 (Showa 2). The area is now part of Yokohama's Minami-ku.
