Titan's lakes. View of Titan's northern hemisphere showing its northern land of lakes and seas. The north pole is at centre. Liquid is blue and black, whilst land areas are yellow to white. Titan, the largest of Saturn's moons, is the only world in the Solar System, other than Earth that has stable liquid on its surface. However, the liquid in Titan's lakes and seas is mostly methane and ethane. Imaged composed of data obtained by the radar instrument on NASA's Cassini spacecraft from 2004 to 2013.
