Computing laboratory. Computer equipment being analysed at Intel Corporation. Intel is one of the world's largest producers of semiconductor products, including microchips and related computing devices. Here, a set of stage and flexure platforms are being used to examine an integrated circuit device. The equipment includes differential micrometers, stepper motors, inline piezo extenders, and microscopes. This research is taking place at an Intel facility in Silicon Valley (Santa Clara County), California, USA. Photographed in October 2011.
