False clownfish spawning
False clownfish (Amphiprion ocellaris) spawning. Pair of false clownfish and their eggs amongst the tentacles of anemones (order Actiniaria). Anemonefish have a symbiotic relationship with their host anemones. They are protected from predators by the stinging tentacles of the anemones (to which they are immune), and the fish clean the anemones by feeding on small parasitic plants and animals. Photographed in Misool, Raja Ampat, West Papua, Indonesia.
