Coloured scanning electron micrograph (SEM) of Walkingstick egg case (Phenacephorus cornucervi). Phasmatodea can be found all over the world except for the Antarctic and Patagonia. They are most numerous in the tropics and subtropics. They are herbivorous and can be agricultural pests. Magnification: x6 when shortest axis printed at 25 millimetres.
