Protein analysis. Researcher handling a gel as part of a protein analysis being carried out in a laboratory. The system being used here is the ProXPRESS Proteomic Imaging System. This system uses visible and ultraviolet light to measure and analyse the results of the use of a range of protein stains and dyes. This is part of a proteomics and mass spectrometry service provided both to researchers at the University of Dundee, Scotland, and to academic and industrial clients worldwide.
