Peruvian mummy research
Peruvian mummy research. Researcher handling textiles found clothing the mummy of a young woman, held at the Darder Museum in Girona, Spain. The mummy originates from Peru and dates from around 1200 years ago. Ongoing anthropological research using forensic and X-ray techniques is attempting to discover her role in society, and her cause of death.
