Brain specimen preparation. Forensic laboratory technician embedding brain specimens into wax as part of the process of preparing them for inspection and analysis by a forensic pathologist. After being encased in wax, these post-mortem clinical specimens from a human brain will be further sliced, mounted on glass slides, and examined under a microscope.
