Takahito and Yuriko Mikasa attended the unveiling ceremony of a monument erected in the Emperor's Room Memorial Park to commemorate the graduation of Prince Mikasa. The monument is inscribed with a poem that Prince Mikasa composed when he visited the former Shiobara Imperial Villa when he was a child: "The moon over Shihobara no Torii-do Yama is the same as that over Crying Mushi Yama.
