Quality control at electroless nickel plating factory
Electroless nickel plating factory. Test strips on a log board at a factory specialising in electroless nickel plating. This process relies on the presence of a reducing agent, such as hydrated sodium hypophosphite, which reacts with the metal ions to deposit metal, instead of the electric current used in traditional electroplating. Every hour, these test strips are used to test the chemical composition in the plating tanks. Photographed at NiTEC, UK.
