Mount Assiniboine
Mount Assiniboine. Time-exposure image of Magog Creek flowing in front of Mount Assiniboine, part of the Canadian Rockies. The mountain forms a natural border between the Banff National Park and the Assiniboine Provincial Park. It was named in 1885 after the Stoney Indians or Assiniboines who were the original inhabitants of the area. Mount Assiniboine is 3618 metres high. Photographed in British Columbia, Canada.
