During the last elections he took the second place after his opponent of the Liberal Democratic Party and New Komeito, Yamamoto Shigetaro. Tetsunari Iida is a Former Gubernatorial Candidate in Yamaguchi Prefecture and Executive Director of the Institute for Sustainable Energy Policies.
