Bee products. The selection here consists of, from left to right: propolis lozenges, bee pollen, royal jelly, and beeswax furniture polish. Propolis is a resinous mixture collected by bees and used to construct their hives. It is used in traditional medicine to treat sore throats. Bee pollen, the main food for bees, is used as a nutritional supplement, as is royal jelly, secreted by bees to feed their larvae. Beeswax is a natural wax produced by bees to construct their hives. It has many uses, including candles and, as here, furniture polish.
