Celebration of 300 years of Newton's Principia
Artwork to celebrate the 300th anniversary of the publication of Isaac Newton's great work, Philosophiae Naturalis Principia Mathematica (\Mathematical Principles of Natural Philosophy\"), in 1687. Newton (1642-1727) said of himself: \"I do not know what I may appear to the world, but to myself I seem to have been only a boy playing on the sea-shore, and diverting myself in now and then finding a smoother pebble or a prettier shell than ordinary, whilst the great ocean of truth lay all undiscovered before me.\""
