Hypochondria

This illustration echoes the Greek myth of Narcissus who fell in love with his own reflection and then drowned whilst trying to touch it. This image could represent an individual's obsession with their own physical health. When taken to extremes  such an obsession could be a sign of hypochondria, a condition where an individual believes that they are suffering with a serious medical condition which has no medical founding. The image could also represent recent trends in male vanity and grooming.
