Students' protest against Japan to release water contaminated with radioactive material from Fukushima, Apr 20, 2021 : A South Korean college student holds a sign after she had her hair shaved during a protest against Japan in front of Twin Tree Tower where the Japanese Embassy in South Korea is housed in Seoul, South Korea. Students have been holding a sit-in in front of the embassy since April 16 to protest against the Japanese government's decision to discharge water contaminated with radioactive material from the wrecked Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant into the ocean. The sign reads,"We strongly condemn U.S. administration that has expressed its support for the Japanese government's decision to discharge radioactive water (from the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant into the ocean)".
