Migraine pills
Migraine pills. Two pill migraine treatment with the proprietary name of Migraleve. Migraines are severe, repeating headaches, often accompanied by other symptoms such as nausea and photophobia (dislike of bright light). A migraine starts when blood vessels to the head dilate after a period of constriction. Migraleve Pink tablets contain the painkilling (analgesic) drug paracetamol (500mg), the sedative and mild analgesic drug codeine (8mg) and the sedative buclizine hydrochloride (6mg). A Migraleve Yellow tablet only contains paracetamol and codeine. Treatment starts with a Pink pill, followed by a Yellow pill if symptoms persist. The Migraleve brand is marketed by Pfizer.
