Supermoon Total Lunar Eclipse Observed Around the World
A total lunar eclipse was observed in Japan for the first time in about three years, since July 2018. This time, the total lunar eclipse coincided with the "super moon," the largest full moon seen in a year, at 8:27 p.m. on May 26, 2021 in Chatan-cho, Okinawa Prefecture.
