Computer circuit board from 1960s
Circuit board from the arithmetic logic unit (ALU for arithmetic & logical operations) of a Univac 1108 computer (late 1960's). The board features early examples of integrated circuits (I. C's - black rectangular units arranged in rows). I.C.'s contain anything from a few to thousands of components such as diodes, transistors, capacitors & resistors that appeared individually on the processor boards of earlier computers.
