Also known by its airport code LAX, this is the primary airport serving the city of Los Angeles. It is one of the busiest airports in the world. It is located on the Pacific coast (sea and beach seen at top left). There are 4 runways (2 seen either side of the central buildings), the longest of which is 3.6 kilometres long.
