HeliFlight helicopter flight simulator
HeliFlight helicopter flight simulator in motion, time exposure image. This is a single-seat flight simulator that can simulate a helicopter or a fixed-wing aircraft. It can be used for training purposes, and its Flightlab software also allows it to be programmed to simulate new aircraft designs to study their behaviour. The cabin contains five screens, giving a view of the simulated environment. It is mounted on six hydraulic legs which give the realistic movement that is essential when training pilots. HeliFlight was jointly developed by Advanced Rotorcraft Technology and Motionbase Plc. This simulator is at the University of Liverpool, England.
