Typhoon fighter plane battle simulation
Typhoon fighter plane battle simulation. Battles between enemy (red) and friendly (blue) aircraft can be displayed for evaluation. Each plane can be flown by a pilot in a simulator. The Eurofighter Typhoon at lower right has locked its weapons on the jet at centre left. This is normally a winning advantage. The Eurofighter Typhoon, developed as the most advanced fighter jet in the world, is flown by a computerised flight control system. A range of simulators were extensively used to design and test the Eurofighter jet, a joint project between the UK, Germany, Italy, and Spain. The Eurofighter Typhoon will enter service in 2003.
