Finding evidence underwater
Finding evidence underwater. Gun being recovered from the seabed by a police diver. As with any potential crime scene, great care must be taken to preserve the evidence. Gloves are used to avoid adding fingerprints, and the gun is handled by the barrel, rather than the handle. Other procedures include noting the location of the gun, searching for further evidence, carefully labelling the gun, and processing it for evidence. Photographed in Antibes, France, as part of a training exercise by the French National Centre for Aquatic Police Training (CNING).
