Dead body recovery training
Dead body recovery. Police divers training in the recovery of a dead body from the seabed. As with any potential crime scene, great care must be taken to preserve, record and collect the evidence. A description or record of the crime scene is made, and a thorough search is made for evidence. The body itself will be wrapped in a body bag, and key areas, such as the hands, are wrapped up separately to preserve evidence. This evidence includes fingerprints used to identify the body, and skin, blood and dirt from under the nails. Photographed in Antibes, France, as part of a training exercise by the French National Centre for Aquatic Police Training (CNING).
