Salman Pak military complex
Salman Pak military complex, Iraq, satellite image. This complex is thought to have served a dual purpose as a biological weapons production facility and a terrorist training school. The complex, which covers over 20 square kilometres, lies 35 kilometres to the south east of Baghdad on a peninsula carved by the Tigris river. Taken by the Ikonos satellite on 25 April 2000.
