Chase 19252012 was the first licensed AfricanAmerican architect in the state of Texas, and the first AfricanAmerican to serve on the U.S. Commission of Fine Arts. The black cover, slightly stained, has a gray interior. The center of the center of the cover is imprinted with Ridgways. On the upper spine is Made in Germany. The case has an interior base to house tools. There are two 2 metal snap closures on the right side of the base which secure to the snap closures on the front cover. There are short films of clear plastic, partially warped, which fold over to cover the tools. Inside is a green fabric base with indents for each of the tools.
