Sea slug
Sea slug or nudibranch (Chromodoris willani). The gills (breathing structures, lower right) are seen, as well as the two rhinophores (upper left). These are used to sense chemicals in the water. Nudibranchs (meaning naked gills) are sea slugs that lack a shell or true gills. They are carnivorous, feeding on invertebrates, and may store toxins from their prey for use against predators. The bright body colour indicates that they are poisonous. Photographed off Mabul, Malaysia.
