Broadclub cuttlefish
Broadclub cuttlefish (Sepia latimanus). Pair of males fighting. This cuttlefish feeds on crustaceans and small fish. It changes colour according to its surroundings by dilating or contracting pigment cells called chromatophores. During the breeding season, a male cuttlefish establishes a territory where the female lays her eggs, which he defends aggressively. Photographed in Borneo, Indonesia.
