Shark feeding
Shark feeding. Scuba diver hand-feeding a pack of Caribbean reef sharks (Carcharhinus perezi). Performed largely for the benefit of tourists, shark feeding is a controversial activity. The divers are protected by chain mail suits to prevent inevitable accidental bites from harming them. Critics of the activity claim that it makes predatory marine life, such as sharks and barracuda, associate humans with food, making attacks more likely.
