Pygmy sweeper fish
Pygmy sweeper fish (Parapriacanthus ransonetti) amongst soft coral (Dendronephthya sp.). A coral hind fish (Cephalopholis minata) is at lower left. Pygmy sweeper fish are found in large shoals near coral reefs and caves in the Indo-West Pacific region. They feed at night on zooplankton. Photographed from a cave in the Andaman Sea, Thailand.
