Minute tree frog
Hyla minuta, a minute tree frog clasping a sedge, a grasslike plant that grows on wet ground. Tree frogs are arboreal creatures with specialised 'toes' to assist in climbing; their digits have expanded discs at their tips, which assist in gripping branches. This frog was found on the Caribbean island of Tobago, but the species is also found in Trinidad & South America.
