Male galah cockatoo
Male galah cockatoo (Eolophus roseicapillus). This cockatoo is found throughout Australia. It is a very sociable bird and it will create a life-long bond with its partner. A male galah can be distinguished from the female by the colour of the iris. A male iris is brown whereas a female iris is red. Photographed in Latrobe, Tasmania, Australia.
