Thick-billed raven
Thick-billed raven (Corvus crassirostris). This bird is the largest member of the raven family and is also the largest perching bird (Passeriformes) reaching a length of 64cm. It is recognisable by the distinct white patch on its nape. The raven inhabits the mountain ranges and plateaus of Eritrea and Ethiopia where it feeds on insects and carrion.
