African bush elephant
African bush elephant (Loxodonta africana). This is the largest of all terrestrial animals. It can reach 7.3 metres in length, 3.5 metres in height and weigh up to 10,000 kg. Its herbivorous diet varies depending on the individual elephant's habitat, although all african bush elephants eat a variety of leaves. Photographed at the Okaukuejo waterhole, Etosha, Namibia.
