Jeju Air plane customized for BTS Jimin's birthday, September 13, 2021 : A Jeju Air plane emblazoned with image of Jimin, a member of K-Pop boy group BTS, taxis along the runway for takeoff at Gimpo International Airport in Seoul, South Korea. Chinese fans for Jimin had raised money to customize the Jeju Air plane to celebrate his Oct. 13 birthday. Chinese social media platform Weibo slapped a 60-day suspension on a fan club account for BTS member Jimin. Weibo accused the account of raising funds illegally. The Chinese Communist Party recently announced measures to rein in celebrity worship and fan club culture, banning minors from spending money in support of their idols, according to local media.
