Light micrograph of gallbladder epithelium. It is a simple columnar epithelium, with epithelial cells that are especially tall and present an ovoid nucleus located in the basal half and at the same height in all of them, forming a clear row along the epithelium. Yellow pigment grains are often seen in the apical cytoplasm.
