k Nodular lymphocytepredominant Hodgkin lymphoma, micrograph Light micrograph of nodular lymphocytepredominant Hodgkin lymphoma NLPHL. NLPHL is a rare, germinal centrederived, Bcell lymphoma that is biologically distinct from classic Hodgkin lymphoma cHL. The two entities differ in their clinical presentation, epidemiology, morphology, immunophenotype, and molecular genetics. Nodular and Bcell rich patterns of NLPHL are more common and considered typical. They present with localized disease and generally pursue an indolent course. Less frequently, the involved lymph nodes show more diffuse or Tcell rich infiltrates variant patterns. These patients frequently have advanced disease with splenic, liver, or bone marrow involvement, Bsymptoms, and a more aggressive clinical course., Photo by WEBPATHOLOGYSCIENCE PHOTO LIBRARY Stock Photo - Afloimages
