Mossy sandwort (Moehringia muscosa )
Mossy sandwort (Moehringia muscosa), a perennial that flowers from May to August, growing in a cavity in the Loulle Jurassic limestone pavement, Jura, France. The limestone karst, cut by runnels and cavities, is known as lapiaz and provides environments for many lime loving plants including the mossy sandwort and ferns such as the maidenhair spleenwort (Asplenium trichomanes)., Photo by MARTYN F.
