Illustration of the Space Launch System (SLS) Block 1B Crew variant on its mobile launcher. The SLS is the most powerful rocket NASA has ever built. It is designed to launch astronauts to the Moon and eventually Mars and beyond. The crew will be carried in the Orion spacecraft, which sits atop this rocket.
