Bankart lesion, X-ray
Coloured X-ray showing a small bone fragment of the left shoulder of a 23 years old handball player with previous injuries to this shoulder. This fragment is displaced from the lower edge of the glenoid cavity suggestive of a Bankart lesion. Bankart lesions are injuries of the anterior (inferior) glenoid labrum of the shoulder and can occur due to a shoulder dislocation., by ZEPHYR/SCIENCE PHOTO LIBRARY
