Apollo 1 launch pad
The main structure of the decommissioned Launch Complex 34 Saturn I/IB launch pad used for the Apollo lunar programme in the 1960s. LC34 is now a memorial to the crew of Apollo 1 - Virgil Grissom, Edward White and Roger Chaffee - who died in a capsule fire during a pre-launch test in January 1967.
