The unmanned submersible "Hakuho" loaded on the private work boat "Shinnichi Maru" arriving at Abashiri Port, Hokkaido, Japan. The sightseeing ship "KAZU 1" with 26 passengers and crew on board sank off the Shiretoko Peninsula. The Japan Coast Guard commissioned a search for the KAZU 1, which sank off the Shiretoko Peninsula on May 8, 2022, in the morning edition of "Shiretoko Accident: Civilian Unmanned Diving Vehicle Shiretoko accident: private unmanned submersible goes to the site, shipping company compensated, and first explanation given to family" was published.
