Tomato plants
Rows of tomato plants grown on a farm in California, USA using debris free water from a sand media filtration system and drip irrigation from tubes below the ground that deliver ground water to the plants' roots. Sand media filtration system removes contaminants from water using sand granules. This farm's switch to drip irrigation increased its yields despite the drought in California. Drip irrigation can be used in regenerative agriculture: farming practices and systems that aim to improve health of the soil and water and increase biodiversity.
