BTS Jin to enlist in the army of South Korea

BTS Kim Seok-Jin aka Jin turned 30 on December 4. Jin will enter a recruit training center of a front-line Army division of South Korea in Yeoncheon, north of Seoul on December 13 to undergo a five-week basic military training before being assigned to a local unit, local media reported on Dec 12. BTS' agency BigHit Music has requested that fans and the media people refrain from visiting the recruit training center to see him off because of safety concerns. "In order to prevent safety incidents, Jin will enter the precincts of the recruit training center in a car without having a special greeting for fans or journalists", the BTS' agency said in a press release, according to local media.
