Great East Japan Earthquake
Already 2 years have passed since the catastrophe.
February 28, 2013, Minami-Soma City, Japan - Solar panels are neatly arranged at the Minami-Soma Solar Agri Park, a photovoltaic system and an agricultural factory currently under construction in the area restricted for living in the nuclear disaster-stricken town of Minami-Soma, located some 240 km northeast of Tokyo on February 28, 2013.
The facility, expected to begin operating in April 2013, is a combination of a 500-kilowatt solar power plant that will generate electricity for approximately 170 households in the area, and an agricultural factory, which local farmers will be able to use for free.
