Appeal for nuclear power plant phase-out on Girls' Festival
Costume demonstration in Tokyo
March 3rd, 2013 : Tokyo, Japan - People marched against nuclear power plants at Kunitachi, Tokyo, Japan on March 3, 2013. This group had tried to make their demonstrations fun or enjoyable because they thought they or people could keep doing this as long as it was fun. Since it was the day of Hinamatsuri, or Doll Festival, they called it "Metamorphose for the Doll Festival." This was their seventh demonstration, and people wore costumes every time not only to make it fun but also to cover their faces because some of them felt uncomfortable to join demonstrations.
