March 8, 2013, Ishinomaki, Japan - Heavymachines and cranes operate at the port of Ishinomaki, Miyagi Prefecture, on March 8, 2013. The port prospered as the major fishing port as well as the base for marine product processing industry. Two years ago on March 11, the Magnitude 9.0 earthquake and ensuing tsunami struck the nation's northeast region, leaving more than 15,000 people dead and ravaging wide swaths of coastal towns and villages.
