March 9, 2013, Kesennuma, Japan - Reconstruction efforts continue at this fishing port of Kesennuma, Miyagi Prefecture, on March 9, 2013, nearly two years after the port was devastated in the March 11 diaster. Two years ago on March 11, the Magnitude 9.0 earthquake and ensuing tsunami struck the nation's northeast region, leaving more than 15,000 people dead and ravaging wide swaths of coastal towns and villages.
