Light micrograph of microcysts (very small cysts best seen microscopically) in a human breast. The picture shows the intersection of four separate cysts, each of which is lined by a single layer of cells (dark blue) and containing myxoid (light blue staining) substance. The pink material extending from the centre to the four corners of the picture is the connective tissue in between the four cysts. Haematoxylin and eosin stained tissue section.
