Yonaguni Island (Okinawa). The "main terrace" leads to a huge stair-like section of monolithic diving point and underwater ruins. Other attractions include a giant turtle stone that looks just like a turtle. It is believed that there are no traces of a megalithic civilization on this westernmost island of Japan, and archaeologists have dismissed the theory that it is man-made. The island is also home to a giant tortoise-shaped stone that looks just like a turtle.
